TOWER ROAD VET
Seeking associates for a rapidly growing, NON-CORPORATE animal hospital. Tower Road Vet was established in 2015 with the goal of providing quality, compassionate, affordable care to animals in our community. Over the last 10 years, Tower Road Vet has grown exponentially and is now a premier animal hospital in the area with a strong community reputation (read the reviews!). We just expanded into a brand-new facility and in June 2025 we will begin offering Urgent Care services in addition to our busy general practice. We are seeking associates for both general practice and urgent care. Hybrid positions available
  • if you want to do a little of both GP and urgent care, you can!
Part-time and Full-time schedule possible. Full-time positions are guaranteed no more than 4 days a week with a regular set schedule.   • we're a busy practice so the ability to learn quickly is a must, but we understand that everyone has to start somewhere.
Urgent Care:
1+ years experience and active credentials in good standing for RVTs. PVTs welcome as long as you are working towards becoming an RVT. Strong time management and organizational skills
  • ability to multitask. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team. Compassionate care of both animals and people
  • we love what we do and take pride in people feeling like we care. Good customer service skills. Enthusiasm for learning new things What you'll be doing: Customer care
  • all positions interact with clients and contribute to the client experience Patient care including safe animal handling, utilizing Low-fear techniques. Record-keeping with cloud-based system (EzyVet) Patient intake and history-taking, perform duties of an Exam Room Technician (ERT) General technician skills
  • venipuncture, IV catheter placement, administering medication, assisting with radiographs, operating diagnostic lab machines, preparing lab samples, dispensing medication, etc. Surgical technician skills
  • administering anesthesia, anesthetic monitoring, scrub nurse/surgical assistance, post-operative care Dentistry (general practice only)
  • taking digital intraoral radiographs, performing COHATs, general dentistry as allowed Triage and emergency care
  • assess patient health status and triage appropriately.
Identify and intervene with critically ill patients or patients needing resuscitation.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary:
RVT $25-29/hr (pay based on experience and demonstration of skill) Vet Assistant $21-24/hr

General Practice:
Open 8:30am-5:00pm M-F and 8:30am-1:30pm Sat
  • 4 day workweek with rotating Saturday
  • No evenings or holidays
Urgent Care :
Open 3pm-10pm M-F, 12pm-10pm Sat/Sun
  • 4 day workweek
  • Evenings and weekends required
  • but never 2 weekend days in a row, and
NO OVERNIGHTS
