Shift Notes:

Scheduling & Coverage Float Requirement:

Primary location is the main campus. May be asked to cover shifts across the system of care (North, South, Uptown, Wheatridge).

Weekend Requirement:

May be required to work weekend shifts as part of regularly scheduled hours.

On-Call Requirement:

Weeknight call rotation (2-3 weeknights per month)

Pay:

$3600 gross weekly (Traveler) $3400 gross weekly (Local i.e, Below 50 miles from the facility)

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pediatric cardiac sonographer. Must have recent experience in a large pediatric academic medical center. Experience scanning complex congenital heart disease and surgically repaired congenital heart defects. Reliable vehicle for travel between system-of-care locations. Experience completing full measurements and writing comprehensive reports•must be specified in work history comments. Experience with GE and Philips ultrasound machines. Experience with Syngo Dynamics reporting system.

Required Certifications:

Active BLS by

AHA. ARDMS

PE or

CCI RCCS.

Additional Comments:

Schedule:

5x8s with variable start times (7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM if on call) .

Weeknight call coverage:

5:30 PM•7:00 AM.

Weekend shifts may be required:

8:00 AM•4:30 PM. Option to work 4x10s during weeks with approved requested time off. No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment. Medical and religious exemptions for seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
