Our dedicated team collaborates across specialty areas including Pain Management, Otolaryngology, and Colon & Rectal surgery, ensuring high-quality outcomes in a streamlined outpatient setting. With a strong focus on clinical excellence and personalized care, Summit View is proud to offer a collaborative environment supported by physician ownership and AAAHC accreditation. The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases. Qualifications High School diploma or GED required CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred Six months of experience, preferred 2-3 years experience as Instrument Room Technician. Experience with all types of sterilizers. Knows operating room instrumentation. Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray. Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer. Understands Sterrad sterilizers. Ability to prepare reports and keep records. Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians Who We Are At USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
