Sterile Processing Technician II (Traveling) Travel-Based Role |
Preferred Locations:
Orlando, Charlotte, Durham, Miami $25 - $33hr + Guaranteed 35 Hours Per Week Long-Term Contract Through End of 2027 Travel Opportunity Insight Global is seeking experienced Sterile Processing Technician II (SPD Tech II) professionals to support hospital facilities across multiple locations. This is a unique opportunity for candidates who enjoy travel, want long-term stability, and have strong experience processing robotic surgical instrumentation in fast-paced healthcare environments. Overtime opportunities available Travel opportunities for training and facility support Exposure to multiple healthcare facilities and surgical teams Stable, high-demand healthcare environment What You'll Be Doing Decontaminate, disinfect, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment Process and maintain robotic surgical instrumentation Prepare instrument trays and surgical sets according to hospital standards Operate sterile processing equipment including ultrasonic cleaners, washer-decontaminators, and cart washers Maintain documentation and compliance records Support operating room teams with instrumentation and supply needs Troubleshoot and escalate damaged or malfunctioning instruments Deliver and retrieve surgical case carts and supplies Help maintain a safe, organized, and compliant sterile processing department Serve as a resource for junior technicians and new team members when needed Required Qualifications 3-5+ years of sterile processing experience with robotic surgical instrumentation Current HSPA or CBSPD Certification Comfortable working in a hands-on decontamination environment Experience working independently in busy hospital settings Strong attention to detail, compliance, documentation, and infection control standards Willingness to travel and support multiple facilities as needed Flexible schedule availability, including potential nights and weekends If you're an experienced Sterile Processing Technician looking for long-term stability, travel opportunities, and the chance to work with advanced robotic surgical instrumentation, we'd love to connect with you!
