May 27, 2026 Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician (Sterile Processing) for a travel assignment in Canton, GA. This role is responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments to support safe and efficient patient care. Key Responsibilities Reprocess and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment Perform decontamination and cleaning of instruments per protocol Inspect, assemble, and package instrument trays Operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, washers, etc.) Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes Support operating room and surgical teams with instrument needs Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Sterile Processing / Instrument Tech experience Strong knowledge of sterilization and decontamination procedures Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Preferred Qualifications HSPA (CRCST) Certification preferred Additional Details Travel candidates only (No local candidates within 50 miles) No on-call required Facility-provided scrubs (Dark Blue) Overtime available (Daily after 24 hrs / Weekly after 40 hrs)
