Responsibilities Responsible for supervising individual shift staff to ensure proper departmental flow in the decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of instrumentation and equipment to multiple serviced departments. Qualifications
REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education. Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Tech (CSPDT) through the Central Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD). Two (2) years of Sterile Processing or related field experience.
PREFERRED
Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units. One (1) year of Sterile Processing or related field supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge of instrument sterilization techniques, Sterile Processing policies and procedures, and surgical procedures.
