Central Sterile Processing Tech/Surgical Aide Full Time - 72 hours per pay period Kossuth Regional Health Center is seeking a Central Sterile Processing Tech/Surgical Aide to join our dedicated surgical team. In this hands-on role, you'll help keep procedures running smoothly by preparing sterile instruments, supporting surgical teams, and assisting with patient care. What You'll Do:

Sterilize, assemble, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment Prepare supplies and instruments for surgical procedures Clean and process endoscopes and other reusable equipment Support patient care under the supervision of nursing staff Assist with patient transport and room turnover Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient surgical environment Maintain a sterile field and follow OR protocols Maintain accurate & timely documentation using electronic health records Participate in on-call rotation and team-based care

What We're Looking For:

Nurse Aide Registry certification or Surgical Technician qualifications Current BCLS certification Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude Commitment to safety, quality, and exceptional service Selected applicant will be required to complete a drug test, immunizations, vaccinations, background check and other health tests.
