Travel Experience:

2+ years required We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Urbana, IL. Candidates must have strong sterile processing experience, prior travel experience, and the required certifications. Job Responsibilities Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment. Prepare instrument trays and surgical case carts according to department protocols. Operate sterilization equipment and follow established procedures for proper sterilization. Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage before assembly. Maintain accurate sterilization records and department documentation. Follow manufacturer instructions for use (IFUs), infection-control standards, and safety protocols. Ensure instruments and supplies are properly prepared and available for surgical procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sterile processing environment. Collaborate with operating room staff and other healthcare team members to support efficient patient care. Requirements Minimum 4 years of Sterile Processing experience

• Required Minimum 2 years of travel experience
• Required Current BLS certification through AHA
• Required Current CRCST or CBSPD certification
• Required Strong knowledge of instrument decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and infection-control practices.
