SPD Tech - Sterile Processing Full-time, first shift, 10:00a-6:30p Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and be on call.Job Descriptions:
The SPD Technician ensures the safety and quality of patient care by meticulously sterilizing and preparing medical instruments, equipment, and supplies for use in surgical procedures and patient care areas; working closely with healthcare professionals to maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control standards.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required, or higher Must obtain Certification as a Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) required within 18 months of hire.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous SPD experience or healthcare-related experience preferred. Completion of a sterile processing technician program preferred.
