In this role, you will help deliver high-quality, patient-centered therapy services focused on restoring function, improving mobility, and enhancing overall quality of life. Responsibilities Include Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions as directed Observe, record, and report patient responses and progress to the Physical Therapist Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and functional mobility Promote patient motivation and engagement throughout treatment Assist patients in improving strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and endurance Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care services Ensure compliance with all facility policies and regulatory standards Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current PTA license in the state of Kentucky Knowledge of current therapy techniques and best practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with patients of varying conditions and personalities Professional demeanor and strong work ethic Desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented environment Helmwood Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer.
