Responsibilities:

• Perform sterilization processes and procedures to ensure the cleanliness and safety of medical equipment and instruments.
• Follow established protocols and guidelines for sterilization, including proper handling, cleaning, disinfection, and packaging of instruments.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Monitor and record sterilization parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and exposure time.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality before and after sterilization.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper instrument selection and availability.
• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and restock as needed.
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of pathogens.
