Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in diverse clinical environments, including acute, chronic, and rehabilitative settings Conduct thorough patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and detailed medical documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Epic Administer medications and treatments with precision, including IV infusions, injections, suturing, and ostomy care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with patient needs Perform specialized procedures such as cardiac catheterization support, dialysis assistance, or trauma medicine interventions Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all patient interactions Educate patients and families on health management strategies, including pain management and post-discharge care instructions Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies while managing medical records accurately Participate in quality improvement initiatives and case management activities to optimize patient outcomes Adapt swiftly to new environments by familiarizing with facility-specific protocols and EMR/EHR systems
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing; additional certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred Proven experience working in diverse clinical settings including ICU, emergency room, telemetry, or surgical units Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR platforms such as Cerner or Epic; familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
