Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Central Service Technician for a short-term travel assignment in a hospital sterile processing department. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in decontamination, sterilization, and surgical instrument processing in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Decontaminate, clean, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment Perform high-level disinfection and sterile processing procedures Inspect trays and instruments to ensure readiness for surgical procedures Maintain sterilization equipment and quality assurance records Follow infection control and aseptic technique standards Monitor inventory and report equipment or supply concerns

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of recent Central Sterile / Sterile Processing experience CRCST Certification required at submission Experience with sterile processing decontamination and sterilization responsibilities required Travel experience highly preferred Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge required
