We are seeking an experienced Central Service Technician (Sterile Processing Technician) for an 8-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sterile processing, decontamination, and sterilization of surgical instruments while maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and patient safety.Responsibilities:
Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment. Perform high-level disinfection and sterilization according to hospital policies and industry standards. Inspect instrument trays for completeness and functionality prior to surgical use. Operate, test, and maintain sterilization equipment. Maintain accurate sterilization records and quality assurance documentation. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking and ordering supplies. Follow infection control, safety, and aseptic techniques at all times. Report equipment malfunctions or supply issues to leadership promptly.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of recent Sterile Processing/Central Service experience . Previous travel experience highly preferred. CRCST certification required within one year of hire . Strong knowledge of decontamination, sterilization, infection control, and instrument processing. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Pay:
