Job Summary We are seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and infection control. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, and preparation of surgical instruments and medical equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of sterile processing procedures, anatomy, and infection prevention protocols, contributing to a safe environment for patients and healthcare professionals alike. Responsibilities Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments and medical devices in accordance with established protocols. Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies and medical equipment, ensuring proper stock rotation and documentation. Reprocess endoscopes and other specialized medical equipment following manufacturer guidelines and industry standards. Apply aseptic techniques during instrument handling to prevent contamination and ensure infection control. Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and inventory management activities. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures. Implement infection prevention measures aligned with healthcare infection control policies. Conduct routine quality checks on sterilized items to verify compliance with safety standards. Stay updated on advancements in sterile processing technology and infection control practices.

Must Have:

2 years current Central Sterile Reprocessing Technician experience [
