Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the proper sterilization, decontamination, and preparation of medical instruments and equipment used in patient care. The Sterile Processing Tech plays a vital role in maintaining infection prevention standards, supporting surgical procedures, and safeguarding patient safety through meticulous handling and processing of medical tools. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sterile processing protocols, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices to uphold the highest standards of healthcare safety. Duties Perform decontamination and thorough cleaning of surgical instruments, endoscopes, and other medical equipment using approved sterilization methods. Assemble, inspect, and package sterile instruments with precision to ensure readiness for surgical procedures. Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies and medical equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper storage. Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilizers in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Reprocess endoscopes and specialized medical devices following established reprocessing protocols to prevent cross-contamination. Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and quality assurance documentation. Adhere strictly to infection prevention management standards, including aseptic techniques and infection control policies. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure all instruments meet safety and functionality standards prior to use. Participate in ongoing training related to healthcare infection prevention and sterile processing advancements. Support compliance with regulatory standards governing medical device sterilization and handling.

2 years current Central Sterile Reprocessing Technician experience [

ENDOSCOPY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. NON-NEGOTIABLE.
Previous travel experience [preferred] Traveler must have their own vehicle

12hr Days Saturday/Sunday/Monday 36hr guarantee HC1
