Days | 5x8s | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician / Central Sterile Reprocessing Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in Pittsfield, MA, with possible extension. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of current Sterile Processing/Central Sterile Reprocessing experience and strong Endoscopy experience . This is a key requirement for the position.

ENDOSCOPY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED - NON-NEGOTIABLE

Please make sure your Endoscopy / Endoscope Reprocessing experience is clearly listed on your resume or candidate profile . Key Responsibilities Perform cleaning, decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. Perform endoscope and flexible scope cleaning, disinfection, and reprocessing according to facility policies and manufacturer instructions. Prepare surgical instrument sets, trays, and case carts for scheduled procedures. Inspect instruments and equipment for cleanliness, functionality, and proper operation. Operate sterilizers, washer-disinfectors, and other sterile processing equipment according to established procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of sterilization and reprocessing activities. Follow infection prevention, safety, quality, and sterile processing standards. Work closely with Operating Room, Endoscopy, and other clinical departments to ensure instruments and equipment are available when needed. Required Qualifications 2+ years of current Central Sterile / Sterile Processing Technician experience - REQUIRED Endoscopy / Endoscope Reprocessing experience - REQUIRED and

NON-NEGOTIABLE

Current BLS certification through

AHA HSPA

(IAHCSMM) certification/credential Strong knowledge of sterile processing, decontamination, sterilization, and infection-control practices. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with OR, Endoscopy, and clinical staff. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
