JOB SUMMARY

Prepares, distributes and controls sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment, and instrumentation. Assists the patient care team to provide and maintain customer service focus essential for smooth operations. Work Experience

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education & Training:

High school diploma, with certification as Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST).

Work Orientation & Experience:

Previous experience in a Central Sterile Supply Technician position preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

Must be self-directed and capable to carry out assignments with limited supervision, and will accept responsibility to assist in on-the-job training of new team members.

Ability to:

a) effectively convey verbal and written information; b) follow directions; c) respond to emergency situations appropriately; d) adapt hours of availability to variable and changing needs of the hospital, including all shifts; e) effectively function as a member of a collaborative team; f) organize and manage time effectively, setting appropriate priorities; and g) comply with The Joint Commission and OSHA standards; h) be self-directed and capable to carry out assignments with limited supervision and, i) assist in on-the-job training of new team members. Benefits Full-Time Days (7am-7:30pm)

Pay Range:

$20.47 - $28.64/hr.
