• Lead and supervise the sterile processing team to ensure efficient and effective instrument decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution.
• Develop, implement, and monitor protocols and procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to promote professional growth and maintain high-quality service.
• Collaborate with clinical and surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments and equipment.
• Manage inventory control and maintenance of sterile processing equipment.
• Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to sterile processing activities. Qualifications
• Proven experience in sterile processing with a strong understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control standards.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Certification in sterile processing (CSPDT or equivalent) is highly desirable.
