Job Description

$3,000 Sign-on Bonus Johns Hopkins Ambulatory Surgery Centers provide high quality, convenient, same-day surgery and care, often at a lower cost than hospitals. Our ambulatory surgery centers are in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. What Awaits You? General Summary:
Inspects, cleans, assembles and sterilizes surgical instrument sets. Operates cleaning and sterilization equipment in order to clean instruments and supplies. Prepare supplies and equipment for steam sterilization and low temperature sterilization.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years instrument processing experience required at a proficient level in all areas to include sterilization and set assembly Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) OR Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)
Shift:
Day Shift (7 am - 3:30 pm)
Salary Range:
Minimum $21.88/hour - Maximum $36.13/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
