Job Description What You Will Do Receive, inspect, and process surgical instruments and medical equipment according to sterilization protocols and manufacturer specifications. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves, to ensure proper functioning and documentation. Organize, inventory, and manage sterile supplies to ensure availability for surgical and clinical teams. Verify that all instruments meet quality and safety standards before distribution to operating rooms and clinical areas. Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols at all times. Collaborate with surgical and clinical staff to address supply needs and resolve any equipment concerns. Qualifications Required Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. Completion of an appropriate Tech Training Program, a Central Technician program, or six (6) months of previous experience in Central Supply. Current certification through approved, accredited certification bodies. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Familiarity with sterilization equipment and procedures.
Additional Information Schedule :
2:30pm - 11:00pm (Afternoon Shift) 40 hours/week
