Job Description

Position description: Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for Sterile Tech to provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Rochester, MN. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

$1500-$1565/Week Position Summary The Sterile Processing Technician supports the operating room team by preparing, cleaning, sterilizing, and delivering surgical instruments, medical supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures. This role also maintains inventory, operates sterilization equipment, and uses computer systems for sterilization tracking. Key Responsibilities Clean, decontaminate, package, sterilize, and prepare surgical/medical/dental instruments. Prepare and deliver instruments, equipment, and supplies to the Operating Room. Operate and troubleshoot autoclaves, washer disinfectors, and ultrasonic cleaners. Maintain inventory and proper storage of sterile supplies and instrumentation. Use computer applications for sterilization tracking and instrument processing. Follow infection prevention, safety, and perioperative procedures. Requirements CRCST or CBSPD certification required by start date.

HSPA CRCST

certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire if applicable. At least 1 year of experience required for travelers.

Preferred:

2 years of sterile processing experience within the past 4 years. Experience handling and sterilizing surgical/medical/dental instrumentation. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to lift/carry 25+ lbs and occasionally work above shoulder level. Strong communication and patient/customer-focused skills.
