Evening Shift - 5x8 Hours (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Rotating Weekends (Every 3rd Week)

40 Hours Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading healthcare facility. This role is essential in supporting surgical and clinical operations by ensuring proper decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment Assemble instrument trays, sets, and supplies based on surgical schedules and priority needs Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and proper assembly Operate and troubleshoot steam sterilizers and related processing equipment Maintain accurate sterilization records and logs in compliance with regulatory standards Adhere to infection control, safety, and compliance guidelines Manage inventory of sterile and non-sterile supplies Identify and report equipment malfunctions or processing issues Follow manufacturer instructions and industry best practices for instrument processing Ensure timely distribution of sterile supplies to operating rooms and other departments Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) certification required Minimum 1 year of Sterile Processing experience required Prior travel experience preferred Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards Experience with steam sterilization equipment Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
