Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to support the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department in an acute care setting. The technician will prepare, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment while supporting a variety of cardiovascular and general surgical cases. Responsibilities Perform sterile processing and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment. Support cardiovascular, vascular, and general surgical procedures. Handle instruments for CABG, valve procedures, aortic aneurysm repairs, thoracotomies, carotid procedures, and femoral-popliteal bypasses. Support procedures including Port-A-Cath insertions and pacemaker cases. Float to general surgical cases when cardiovascular cases are not busy. Prepare equipment for cases such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, colon resections, hernia repairs, podiatry, orthopedic procedures, hysterectomies, and tubal procedures. Maintain compliance with infection prevention and sterile processing standards. Ensure instruments and supplies are properly cleaned, assembled, sterilized, and available for procedures. Document and maintain accurate sterile processing records. Requirements Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience .

AHA - BLS

Certification required. CRCST certification with HSPA verification required. Strong experience with OR/sterile processing procedures. LAL01

Pay:
