Peters, Outpatient Surgery Center. As a lead tech, you will be responsible for ensuring all our surgical cases have the correct instrumentation for every case as well as ensuring that same day turn-overs are completed on time. Our ideal candidate will be a Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST).

100 Entrance Way Saint Peters, MO 63376 Monday - Friday no weekends or holidays 0600 - 1430 Evening Shift Must be Certified Overview Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital proudly serves the health care needs of families in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. The 102-bed community hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, the Breast Health and Women's Center, the Cardiology Center, the Neurosurgery Center and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and carries a Level II stroke certification. Additionally, the hospital's medical office building houses offices for specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, dermatology, surgery and pulmonology. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital also offers outpatient services including physical therapy, a sleep lab, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Assists the supervisor in providing quality, cost-effective decontamination, sterilization, and distribution services. Trains and directs CSPD staff, problem solves equipment failures and functions as a charge person in the absence of the Supervisor. Responsibilities Assembles and processes instruments sets, trays, supplies and linen; prioritizes trays and tasks according to the surgery schedule. Utilizes and troubleshoots steam sterilizers. Serves as the primary coordinator between surgical services and central supply sterile processing department in assigned clinical service area. Provides training and guidance to staff.
