Mississippi Gulf Coast Pay:
$20-$24 per hour | Weekly Pay | Monday-Friday Are you an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPD Tech) looking for a rewarding opportunity on the Mississippi Gulf Coast? We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented professional to join a busy Outpatient Surgery Center where you'll play a vital role in ensuring surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for patient procedures. If you are passionate about patient safety, thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment, and have experience in sterile processing, central sterile services, or surgical instrument sterilization, we'd love to hear from you!Position Highlights Full-Time Monday-Friday Schedule Hours Vary Weekly Pay Competitive Pay:
$20-$24 per hour Outpatient Surgery Center Mississippi Gulf Coast Responsibilities Perform all aspects of the sterilization process, including instrument decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and storage. Work closely with the Operating Room (OR) team to ensure sterile instruments and supplies are available for scheduled surgical procedures. Review daily surgery schedules to anticipate general, specialty, and case-specific instrument needs. Assist with cleaning and preparing operating rooms between surgical cases. Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Support a safe, organized, and efficient sterile processing department while maintaining high standards of infection prevention and patient safety. Qualifications Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician program or current Sterile Processing certification. Minimum of 6 months of Sterile Processing Technician experience required. 2 years of experience preferred. Current Hands-on BLS Certification. Current TB test. Reliable, dependable, and personable with strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
