Job Description

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Sterile Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone that takes pride in their work, is hard working and motivated to advance their careers. The job is in a fast-paced environment that values efficiency and organization. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sterile environment in our Oral Surgery practice to ensure patient safety. Prior experience or familiarity with the job position is preferred but not required. The candidate with the correct attitude and personality will be trained on the job even without prior experience. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to move into a surgical assistant position in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Sterilize and disinfect surgical instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines. Prepare treatment rooms for procedures by setting up instruments and materials. Restock surgical rooms with instruments and materials as needed. Assist during patient appointments by seating patients, discharging patients, and documenting patient records. Follow proper protocols for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Familiarity with infection control procedures and regulations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. A positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Dental Assisting or Sterile Processing preferred, but not required. CPR certification is a plus. Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques. Come to work in our brand-new state-of-the-art facility with a close group of fun and caring individuals.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
