•40 hours per week

Schedule :

Day Shift, 8am-4:30p

•Monday through

Friday On-Call:

Every 3rd weekend

Department Information:

Our Sterile Processing Department is a critical unit responsible for the lifecycle management of medical instruments and equipment for 5 operating rooms. What We're Looking For:
Education :

High School Diploma or GED, required.

Experience :

One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology. Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification.

Cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing equipment Ensures the instruments and equipment are available Ensures all equipment is properly maintained, and ready for immediate use in order to support patient care.
