Up to $19,760 This position offers different compensation rates for local and travel candidates. Candidates within 50 miles may be considered at the local rate. Candidates above 50 miles may be considered for the travel rate. Key Responsibilities Perform decontamination, preparation, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. Prepare case carts and instrument sets according to established procedures. Ensure proper materials and methods are used for packaging and sterilization. Operate sterilizers and perform related equipment processes. Maintain knowledge of surgical instruments and patient care equipment. Use instrument tracking systems and basic computer applications. Follow established infection-control and safety procedures. Requirements Minimum 3 years of sterile processing experience required. Experience with Orthopedic and Neurological instruments required. CRCST or CBSPD certification required. High school diploma required. Basic computer skills required. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform heavy lifting. Strong teamwork and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
