Central Sterile Supply Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to support the decontamination, preparation, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and patient care equipment. Key Responsibilities Decontaminate, prep, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment. Prepare surgical case carts and instrument sets. Operate sterilizers safely and effectively. Follow proper packaging and sterilization procedures. Maintain knowledge of surgical instruments and patient care equipment. Use instrument tracking systems such as ABACUS/Microsystems when applicable. Work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Requirements 3+ years of Sterile Processing experience required CRCST certification required ; CBSPD accepted High School Diploma required Experience with Orthopedic and Neurology instruments required Basic computer skills Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/push trays and sterilization carts Strong teamwork skills Apply today for this Sterile Processing Technician contract opportunity in Morristown, NJ!
