Job Description Performs quality control through daily testing and cleaning to assure sterilization equipment and instruments are functioning properly Inspects instruments for sharpness and proper function Facilitates decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging and sterilization of instrumentation trays and Cystoscopes Experience with Sterrad & Steam Sterilizers preferred Maintain and accurately document sterilization process Requirements High school diploma/GED required Minimum one (1) year experience working as sterile processing technician preferred Current certification required or obtain within 6 months of hire Experience working in an ambulatory center preferred but not required
