ASAP We are seeking an experienced Certified Central Sterile Technician (CST) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong sterilization and instrumentation experience in a fast-paced surgical environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment while ensuring compliance with all infection prevention and patient safety standards. Responsibilities Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment. Operate and monitor sterilization equipment according to established protocols. Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and quality control measures. Ensure instrument trays are prepared and delivered accurately for surgical procedures. Follow infection control policies and industry best practices. Collaborate with surgical services staff to support patient care needs. Maintain inventory and organization of sterile processing areas. Requirements Minimum 2 years of current Central Sterile Technician experience . Current HSPA (IAHCSMM) Certification required. Current BLS Certification required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds . Strong knowledge of sterilization processes, instrumentation, and infection control standards. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
