PROCESSING TECHNOLOGIST

Chillicothe, OH 45601 13-Week Contract | Possible Extension Evening Shift | Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

PAY PACKAGE

Weekly Gross:

$1,600 Travel Position Only - 60+ Mile Rule No Local Candidates Accepted To qualify for the travel package, the candidate's Driver's License (DL) address must be 60+ miles from the facility in Chillicothe, OH.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments. Perform high-level disinfection according to facility policies and manufacturer instructions for use (IFU). Inspect and assemble surgical instrumentation accurately for procedures. Perform peel packing, counting, assembling, and sterilizing instrumentation. Prepare and pull case carts for scheduled surgical procedures. Ensure sterile instruments and supplies are available for the OR and other departments. Transport surgical instrumentation and supplies to the Operating Room (OR) . Answer the department phone and communicate effectively with OR staff and other departments. Complete required documentation and quality assurance activities. Follow strict infection prevention, safety, and sterilization standards . Rotate through different positions within the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) as needed, within the scope of service. Follow manufacturer instructions and facility policies for all equipment and instruments. Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare departments to support efficient patient care.

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of Sterile Processing experience CRCST certification - Required BLS - Required Valid Driver's License (DL) copy RTO (Requested Time Off), if applicable

COVID-19

vaccination/documentation Strong knowledge of sterile processing, sterilization, infection prevention, and surgical instrumentation.

Pay:
