Sterilization Technician

Job Description

Sterile Processing Duties:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Sterilization and Environmental Services Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to a caring and efficient dental practice. This position is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing medical instruments, as well as ensuring that patient care areas meet strict cleanliness standards. Key Responsibilities:
Sterililization Duties:
Clean, decontaminate, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment following established protocols. Assemble instrument trays and surgical packs for procedures. Maintain proper documentation of sterilization processes. Follow infection control guidelines and industry best practices.
Environmental Services Duties:
Clean and sanitize patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas according to hospital standards. Dispose of medical and general waste properly. Restock cleaning supplies and maintain equipment. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in sterile processing preferred. Ability to follow protocols and safety guidelines precisely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
