Day Shift | 5x8 Hours Sterile Processing Technician - Apply Today! We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join our healthcare team in Dublin, OH . This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Sterile Processing Technicians, Central Sterile Technicians, CSPTs, CRCSTs, and Certified Sterile Processing Technicians looking for a rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in all areas of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) , including decontamination, instrument assembly, inspection, packaging, sterilization, High-Level Disinfection (HLD), scope processing, sterile storage, and surgical instrument tracking . Key Responsibilities Perform thorough decontamination and cleaning of surgical instruments and medical equipment . Process complex instruments and equipment, including drills, robotic instruments, Da Vinci instruments, and surgical scopes . Assemble, inspect, package, and prepare surgical instrument trays and sets. Process instruments for multiple surgical service lines, including Trauma, specialty procedures, loaner trays, and peel packaging . Perform sterilization using Steam and STERRAD sterilization systems . Perform High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and flexible scope processing. Inspect surgical instruments for cleanliness, functionality, damage, and proper assembly. Ensure proper packaging, labeling, documentation, and sterilization of instruments and supplies. Maintain organized and properly managed sterile storage areas . Utilize the Censitrac Tracking System for instrument tracking, documentation, and workflow management. Work closely with Operating Room staff and provide support as an OR Liaison when needed. Manage surgical instrument sets, loaner trays, specialty equipment, and sterile supplies. Follow all infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with sterilization standards, regulatory requirements, and healthcare guidelines. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient Sterile Processing work environment. Required Qualifications Previous experience as a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) , Sterile Processing Tech , Central Sterile Technician , or CSPT required. CBSPD or CRCST Certification is required. Strong experience in Decontamination, Assembly, Inspection, Packaging, and Sterilization . Experience with High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and Flexible Scope Processing . Experience with Steam and STERRAD sterilization systems required. Experience processing surgical instruments, instrument trays, loaner sets, and specialty equipment. Experience with Trauma instruments, robotic instruments, Da Vinci instruments, and surgical scopes preferred. Experience using the Censitrac Instrument Tracking System preferred. Knowledge of sterile processing standards, infection prevention, and patient safety practices. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital or healthcare environment. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Why Apply?
