Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleaned and decontaminated surgical instruments and medical equipment according to manufacturer IFUs. Inspected, assembled, packaged, and sterilized medical devices following manufacturer IFUs. Operated automated washers, ultrasonic cleaners, cart washers, and sterilizers. Inspected surgical instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and proper condition during tray assembly. Prepared surgical case carts for add-on and emergency procedures. Communicated with staff to ensure timely availability of instruments and supplies. Performed daily, weekly, and monthly department cleaning and maintained cleaning logs. Checked product expiration dates and maintained accurate department records. Performed additional sterile processing duties to support department and hospital operations. Requirements Minimum 2 year of Sterile Processing experience HSPA or CBSPD certification required
