Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technologist

•Sterile Processing for a 13-week travel assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of sterile processing experience along with the required certifications. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient cleaning, sterilization, preparation, and handling of surgical instruments and equipment in accordance with established infection-control and sterile processing procedures.

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience . Current BLS certification . CRCST or CSPDT certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD. Basic computer skills. Ability to work the assigned evening schedule. Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection-control standards.

Responsibilities :

Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment. Follow established sterile processing and infection-control procedures. Ensure instruments and equipment are properly prepared for surgical procedures. Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and proper condition. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sterilization and instrument processing. Operate sterile processing equipment safely and according to facility procedures. Communicate effectively with surgical and healthcare teams. Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
