Our team is committed to delivering high-quality treatment and ensuring a seamless experience for every patient from diagnosis through recovery. Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our dedicated surgical team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing, sterilizing, and managing surgical instruments and supplies to support our surgical procedures. Your expertise will ensure that all instruments are sterile, properly maintained, and ready for use, contributing directly to patient safety and successful outcomes. Responsibilities Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment following strict aseptic techniques Inspect instruments for damage or wear, ensuring they meet safety standards before use Manage inventory of surgical supplies and maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles Prepare instrument trays and packaging for surgical procedures with precision and attention to detail Follow all safety protocols related to sterile processing and infection control standards Maintain detailed documentation of sterilization processes, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures Requirements Knowledge of sterile processing procedures and aseptic techniques in a healthcare setting Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to surgical instruments Experience with inventory management systems for tracking supplies and sterilization cycles Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and maintain meticulous records Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology enhances understanding of instrument handling and sterilization needs Excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and commitment to patient safety Prior experience in sterile processing or surgical support is preferred but not required; training will be provided Join us in making a difference by supporting our mission to deliver safe, effective spine care.
