$36.19/hour Position Summary A Critical Access Hospital is seeking a certified Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to support sterile processing and endoscope reprocessing operations across the hospital and affiliated clinics. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with at least 2 years of sterile processing experience who are proficient in decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and flexible endoscope reprocessing. Key Responsibilities Clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment. Process flexible endoscopes and probes according to manufacturer guidelines. Perform High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and Automated Endoscope Reprocessing (AER) . Assemble instrument trays and manage loaner instrumentation. Monitor sterilization cycles using biological and chemical indicators. Maintain accurate documentation and sterile processing records. Support hospital-wide sterile processing needs, including clinics and procedural areas. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience . Current CRCST (HSPA/IAHCSMM) or CBSPD certification. Current BLS certification . Previous experience with endoscope reprocessing . Strong knowledge of decontamination and sterilization processes . Experience using the Epic charting system . The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience with: Sterile processing and instrument reprocessing Decontamination and sterilization Flexible endoscope reprocessing HLD and AER Instrument assembly and tray preparation Biological and chemical sterilization monitoring Epic HL01

Pay:

$1,350.00 - $1,450.00 per week
