Qualifications and Skills:
Current certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or equivalent) required Demonstrated knowledge of instrument decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization processes Experience in an acute care, hospital, or surgical setting preferred Ability to follow infection control guidelines with impeccable attention to detail Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in handling sensitive instruments and equipment Capability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
Key Responsibilities:
Clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments in alignment with quality assurance standards Maintain accurate records of processed items and sterilization cycles Support inventory management by tracking, restocking, and reporting supply needs Perform routine testing and maintenance of sterilization and decontamination equipment Adhere strictly to all regulatory policies and safety procedures Collaborate effectively with surgical and clinical staff to ensure timely delivery of sterile supplies This position is an excellent opportunity for Sterile Processing Technicians looking to further their expertise in an impactful setting.
