Join our dedicated team as a Certified Central Sterile Technician ! In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and safety of surgical instruments and medical equipment, playing an essential part in patient care and the overall success of our healthcare facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that all items are properly sterilized and ready for use in various procedures. You will work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, building meaningful relationships while prioritizing patients' health and safety. Responsibilities Set up and operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and steam sterilizers. Prepare and clean surgical instruments and equipment for procedures. Decontaminate used instruments before sterilization according to established protocols. Inspect and package instruments and supplies for sterilization. Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and ensure compliance with safety standards. Monitor and maintain inventory of sterile supplies and assist in reordering as needed. Assist in training and orienting new staff members on sterilization procedures and guidelines. High School diploma or equivalent. A formal training program in a program for Central Sterilization (CRCST). Minimum of 12 months work experience required. Require current CPR and must maintain without lapse.
