Job:
The Fortis College campus in Houston TX is currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sterile Processing professional to join our team as an Instructor. Fortis College is dedicated to providing exceptional educational programs that deliver essential career skills in high-demand occupations that lead to employment upon graduation and a lifetime of professional growth.
Summary :
As a member of our Sterile Processing faculty, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the Sterile Processing program, including ensuring compliance with company, state, and accreditation standards, developing, fostering, and maintaining partnerships within the campus departments. In this position, you will play a vital role in shaping the future success of our students pursuing a career in sterile processing.
Responsibilities:
Assist with developing and enhancing the sterile processing program curriculum in line with industry standards and best practices. Monitor and maintain compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements for the Sterile Processing program. Maintain current knowledge of advancements within the field of sterile processing. Participate in faculty development activities, conferences, and professional organizations to enhance personal and program knowledge.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in Sterile Processing or a related field is preferred, but a certificate of completion or diploma in Sterile Processing is required CRCST Certification required; additional certifications in CIS, CER, and CHL are desired but not required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sterile Processing. Experience working with diverse populations. Authorization to work in the US and able to provide verifiable credentials. Pay range : $25-28/hr
Schedule :
Monday and Wednesday, and Tuesday and Thursday from 7:45am to 1:30pm
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
