Sterilization Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards. Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring sterilized instruments and materials are properly arranged. Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment with attention to detail. Monitor and log sterilization cycles and ensure all documentation meets safety requirements. Support the clinical team by maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked sterilization area. Dispose of hazardous and biohazardous waste following proper protocols. Participate in team huddles and contribute to a clean, efficient, and positive working environment. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Dental Assistant Certification. Minimum of 1 year/s of recent experience as a Sterilization Technician . Previous dental or medical sterilization experience. Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.
