Central Sterile Supply Technician (Full-Time)
Location:
Langley AFB ERP International is seeking full-time Central Sterile Supply Technicians to support Langley AFB Surgical Suite and Dental Clinic . Work Schedule Monday-Friday Surgical Suite 6:30am-3pm Monday-Friday Dental Clinic 7am-4pm 30-minute lunch break No weekends or holidays Position Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Receive, disassemble, and inspect reusable medical devices and surgical instruments for damage. Perform decontamination procedures, including removal of blood, tissue, body fluids, and other contaminants using approved methods (wiping, soaking, rinsing, scrubbing, ultrasonic cleaners, and washer/sterilizers). Comply with all OSHA regulations and wear required personal protective equipment while working in decontamination areas. Examine instruments post-decontamination to ensure cleanliness and proper functionality. Properly label and identify all medical devices and surgical instruments. Assemble and prepare specialty trays and instrument sets. Select appropriate packaging, wrapping materials, and sterilization methods, including Steam Sterilization and Ethylene Oxide (ETO) , in accordance with MTF standards. Correctly label, seal, wrap, and load items with appropriate chemical indicators and aerate gas-sterilized items for required timeframes. Receive and verify sterilized items for integrity (indicator changes, package condition, moisture). Store sterile items in accordance with MTF sterile storage procedures. Receive and dispose of regulated medical waste, general waste, and soiled linens.Minimum Qualifications Education:

Certificate Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Central Sterile Supply Technician within the past 2 years.Certification:
Current certification through the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) or National Institute of Health Care Sterile Processing and Distribution (NICHSPD)Life Support:
Current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certificationSecurity:
