Scrub & Sterile Processing Technician Location:

Pay:

$50/hr- $55/hr Key Responsibilities Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and operating rooms for procedures. Scrub, gown, glove, and assist the surgical team while maintaining strict sterile technique. Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure instruments are properly handled and functioning. Perform surgical counts, specimen handling, room turnover, and restocking. Clean, decontaminate, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and trays. Operate autoclaves, sonic washers, and other sterilization equipment. Monitor sterilization results and maintain accurate records. Inspect equipment for defects and report maintenance needs. Maintain inventory and ensure supplies are available for surgical procedures. Requirements Minimum 2 years of relevant experience . Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or qualifying OR scrub experience. Current BLS certification required. Sterile Processing/Central Supply certification preferred. Must be knowledgeable in surgical asepsis, instrumentation, sterilization, and OR procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and handle blood/body tissue exposure. #4001
