Full Time Summary:
The Surgery Center at Tri-City Orthopaedic Clinic, P.S.C. is looking for a compassionate and motivated Central Sterile Processing Technician who will thrive in the team environment of our Central Sterile Department. Our surgery center serves patients having procedures with any of our surgeons who specialize in hand/wrist/elbow, shoulder, hip, knee, or foot/ankle joints.
Position Duties:
Demonstrates and follows appropriate standards in cleaning and sterilization techniques. Utilize knowledge in the care of instruments and supply preparation for surgical procedures. Maintains inventory of instruments in the work area Assures adequate functioning & cleaning of all autoclaves and other sterilizing and cleaning equipment Provides support and assistance to nursing staff and physicians (i.e. reliability, initiative, work relations, anticipation) Serves as a resource to other members of the healthcare team Other duties as assigned

Required:
CRCST certification Knowledge of basic medical terminology Must be able to analyze, problem solve, and make decisions quickly and calmly Must be a High School graduate or have completed a GED course Must possess the ability to handle stress and multi-task effectively
