So Do We. This isn't your typical general dental assisting position. As a periodontal specialty practice, our team is involved in procedures including: Dental Implants, Sinus Lifts, Bone Grafting, Tissue Grafting, Flap/Osseous Surgery, Crown Lengthening, Frenectomies And More An interest in periodontal and oral surgery is a must. What We're Looking For We want an assistant who is experienced, dependable, confident, proactive, and team-oriented —someone who can think ahead instead of waiting to be told what's next. You'll be responsible for: Anticipating the doctor's needs throughout surgical procedures Reviewing schedules and charts in advance to prepare for treatment Preparing, turning over, stocking, and closing operatories Obtaining and documenting medical/dental histories and vital signs Taking dental radiographs and CBCT scans Providing exceptional patient care, education, and comfort Assisting with medical and dental emergencies Providing doctor-prescribed post-operative instructions Maintaining accurate clinical notes and periodontal charting Preparing post-operative reports for referring dentists Communicating effectively with the clinical and front-office teams Following infection-control and HIPAA requirements Helping keep the clinical environment clean, organized, and patient-ready Required Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Dental Assisting Certificate Arizona Radiology Certificate •
PERIODONTAL OR ORAL SURGERY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
• Our primary location is in Mesa , with a satellite office in Queen Creek . Our doctors and surgical assistants work in Queen Creek approximately 1-2 days per week , so candidates should be comfortable working at both locations. Think You'd Be a Great Fit?
