Full-Time Oral Surgical Assistant Phoenix Oral & Facial Surgery is looking for an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Full-Time Oral Surgical Assistant to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. We are looking for someone who is confident in a surgical setting, works well with patients, and can work efficiently as part of a team. Responsibilities Assist Dr. Kim during oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures Prepare treatment rooms and surgical instruments Assist with IV sedation and surgical procedures Take and record patient vital signs Prepare patients for surgery and provide post-operative instructions Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment Assist with patient charting and documentation Provide excellent patient care before, during, and after procedures Communicate professionally with patients, referring offices, and team members Follow all office safety, infection-control, and surgical protocols Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred Oral surgery experience preferred Experience assisting with surgical procedures and/or IV sedation is a plus Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment Excellent communication and customer-service skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Able to work well independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail CPR/BLS certification preferred Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday schedule with hours based on the surgical schedule.
