About Precision Surgery Center We are dedicated to personalized care in a compassionate setting. Precision Surgery Center provides state-of-the-art care in the surgical treatment involving the retina, vitreous, and macula. Precision Surgery Center has an exceptional full-, part-time or PRN opportunity for an experienced Scrub Tech in our ambulatory surgery center. Starting wage commensurate with experience and certification. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Scrub Technician to join our dynamic surgical team at Precision Surgery Center. As a Scrub Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures. Your expertise in maintaining a sterile environment and providing the necessary instruments and supplies will be vital in ensuring the success of our surgical department and the safety of our patients. Schedule Monday-Thursday, no nights, weekends, or holidays

Responsibilities- Preparing the operating room for surgery by ensuring it is clean, sterile, and fully equipped with the necessary instruments and supplies.
- Assisting the surgical team in donning sterile gowns and gloves.
- Anticipating the needs of the surgical team during procedures and passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants promptly.
- Maintaining the sterile field throughout the surgical procedure and taking appropriate action to prevent contamination.
- Assisting with patient positioning and draping to ensure optimal exposure for the surgical site.
- Handling and disposing of surgical instruments and supplies following established protocols.
- Cleaning and restocking the operating room after each procedure.
- Collaborating with the perioperative team to ensure efficient workflow and timely turnover between surgical cases.
- Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assisting in transporting patients to and from the operating room, as needed.
- Participating in continuous education and staying up-to-date with best practices and advancements in surgical technology. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
- Required 2 years of experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician in an acute care or surgical setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
