Precision Surgery Center has an exceptional PRN opportunity for an experienced Scrub Tech in our ambulatory surgery center, open 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday). Job Description We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Scrub Technician to join our dynamic surgical team at Precision Surgery Center. As a Scrub Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures. Your expertise in maintaining a sterile environment and providing the necessary instruments and supplies will be vital in ensuring the success of our surgical department and the safety of our patients.

Responsibilities
Preparing the operating room for surgery by ensuring it is clean, sterile, and fully equipped with the necessary instruments and supplies.
Assisting the surgical team in donning sterile gowns and gloves.
Anticipating the needs of the surgical team during procedures and passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants promptly.
Maintaining the sterile field throughout the surgical procedure and taking appropriate action to prevent contamination.
Assisting with patient positioning and draping to ensure optimal exposure for the surgical site.
Handling and disposing of surgical instruments and supplies following established protocols.
Cleaning and restocking the operating room after each procedure.
Collaborating with the perioperative team to ensure efficient workflow and timely turnover between surgical cases.
Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
Assisting in transporting patients to and from the operating room, as needed.
Participating in continuous education and staying up-to-date with best practices and advancements in surgical technology. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
